Kenny Harlow's Training Programs include:

The Kenny Harlow Training with Trust™ Certification

Kenny's Certification program is a twelve month, Internationally recognized, comprehensive, interactive training program. This comprehensive program will include training in all aspects of riding and horsemanship techniques, culminating in an Internationally recognized certification. This training program will take place at Cedar Run Ranch in Cumberland, Virginia. Students enrolled in this program will be educated and experience "hands on" training with this gentle method that has literally changed the way horses are trained. These training techniques work with every breed of horse and are for any riding discipline.

Instruction begins in July, with the very basic Training with Trust techniques progressing into advanced skills. The program will cover the following: conditioning/response training, the use of the round pen, starting a colt, training of a green horse, handling real problems that occur among horses, lateral movement, lead changes, components to the stop, communication through the reins, and horse psychology. Additional topics that will be addressed include proper tack, veterinary medicine, and farrier science. Instruction will also cover a broad range of disciplines such as reining, dressage, hunter/jumper, and driving. The student will be tested, judged, and asked to demonstrate all these techniques throughout the program.
